She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Dubil and Katherine Dubil (Bednick); her husband Alvin V. Holst; her sisters-in-law, Ethel Holst and Phyllis Holst; her great grandchild Lucas Slavens; and her siblings, Anna Korbelik, Mary Lieshner, Eva Jugenheimer, Rose Griffin, Helen Glynn, John Dubil and Andrew Dubil.
She is survived by: her daughter Sue; her son-in-law Bill Slavens; her son Alvin Wayne of Bettendorf; her daughter-in-law Diane Holst of Bettendorf; her grandchildren, Stacy Volmer (Jason) of Ankeny, Sally Slavens of Ankeny, Zachary Slavens (Brooke) of New Berlin and Mindy Miller (Chris Gingery) of Ankeny; her great grandchildren, Emma, Dylan Miller, Zoe Sadie, Quinn Volmer and Nathan Slavens; and her brother Nick Dubil.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Davenport Chapter of the Disabled Veterans or to the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.
