He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester A. Zabel and Martha Zabel (Lightner). He is survived by: his wife Cathy Bingham; his children, Stacey Zabel-Hudson and Sean Zabel; his siblings, Ken Zabel, Rhonda Malito and Ted Zabel; his grandchildren, Alex, Cheyenne, Gage, Spencer, Emma and Josslyn; and his friends, Dr. Wayne "Butch", Lynn Carney, Ron and Elaine Beckenbaugh.
