It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Childe (Bettendorf, Iowa), born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on September 3, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Jon Marechal; and her stepmother Doris J. Carlson. She is survived by: her children, Alison Brooks (Steven) of Davenport and Graeme Childe (Cindra) of Davenport; her brother Jon Carlson (Patricia) of Moscow, Iowa; her cousin Pamela Mertens (Marv) of Davenport; her grandchildren, John, Shandy, Ben, Anthony, Chelsie, Jamie and Marechal; and her great grandchildren, Ember and Alainah. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
