She is survived by: her parents, Pedar Thompson and Laura Thompson (Grabinger); her husband Bill Buchheit of Bettendorf; her children, Murray "Boo" Buchheit (Kris) of Ames, Beth Ackerman (Joe) of LeClaire and Lisa Williams (Steve) of Eldridge, Iowa; her siblings, Darlene "Babe" Bremmer (Gene) of Parker Prairie, Minnesota and Patrick "Butch" Thompson (Laurie) of Alexandria, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Kara Silverthorn of Davenport, Joe Ackerman (Oie) of Colorado Springs, Joshua Ackerman (Erica) of LeClaire and Alex Buchheit of Iowa City, Iowa; and her great grandchildren, Aden Ackerman and Gavin Ackerman.
