She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kloppenborg and Mary Kloppenborg (Mertens); her husband Bill J. Mapes; and her son Paul Mapes. She is survived by: her children, Fran Kuhlman (Steve) of The Villages, Tom Mapes (Pat) of Davenport, Cheri Mapes-Arney (Greg) of Bettendorf, Jan Kramer (Mark) of Foley and Bill Mapes of Moline; and her daughter-in-law Jerri Mapes of Princeton, Iowa.
