It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Hopping (Bettendorf, Iowa), born in Abingdon, Illinois, who passed away on February 12, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Roberts and Edith Roberts (Courson); her spouse Everett "Bud" Hopping; her sister Barbara; her son-in-law Rob Tyler; and her nephew Matthew Roberts.
She is survived by: her daughters, Beverly Reed (Michael) of Bettendorf and Peggy Newman (Karl Jahns) of Bettendorf; her brothers, Clarence Roberts (Dorothy) of Galesburg and Lyle Roberts (Karen) of Abingdon; and her grandchildren, Sarah Blanchard (Ben), Dani Wiebler (Brett), Lindsey Cox (James III) and Mica Frandsen (Andrew).
