He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Hollars and Mildred Hollars (Spidel); his son Brian; and his siblings, Rex, Donald, Paul and Renee.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie Robinson (Rick), Alicia Starner (Robert), Michael Hollars II, Rae Palmersheim and James Weaver; his close friend Deb Corbin; and his brother Alfred "Wayne" Hollars. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
