He is survived by: his wife Jean; his sons-in-law, Denise, Bill Meck of Fairfield, Kelly and Robert Long of Taylor Ridge; his sons, Gary Derby of Bettendorf and Richard Derby of Davenport; and his sister Deanna Valade of Show Low.
