It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paul E. Eppel (Bettendorf, Iowa), born in Boone, Iowa, who passed away on June 25, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Eppel and Grace Eppel (Smith); his wife Marilyn Fassett; his brother Raymond Eppel; and his brother-in-law Jack Halterman.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven Eppel (Meg Matthews) of Davenport and David Eppel; his granddaughter Claire Eppel; his stepgranddaughters, Christina George (Brandon) and Lindsey Tinnell (Jake); his sister Lois Halterman of Indianola; and his sister-in-law Gretchen Eppel of Washington. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
