She is survived by: her spouse Edward Adamson; her grandson Dane Rambo of Baton Rouge; her siblings, Melinda Smoldt (Jim) of Reinbeck, Dana Caldwell of Cypress, David Meek (Frances) of Sebastian and Suzanne Foxman of Alameda; her children, Mike Adamson and Brenda Adamson-Rambo; and also, Brenda and Mike.

Memorials are suggested to Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, University of Iowa Children's Hospital or the charity of the donor's choice.
