She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Houston and Madeline Houston (Parsons); and her husband Richard D. Long. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Kapral (Richard) of Deerfield, Dana Knapp (Charles) of Inola, Oklahoma and Darren Long of Bettendorf; and her sisters, Sandra Price of Rock Island and Sharon Kelley (Kurtis) of Silvis, Illinois.
