He is survived by: his wife Becky Schmidt (Rodriguez); his pet Harley; his children, Brady Stender, San Diego, Tammy Schmidt, Trena Coffey (Mike), Tawny Stoffregen (Nate), Bettendorf Schmidt and Matthew Schmidt (Kari Hanson); and his grandchildren, Alexis, Aiden Schmidt, Bella, Gabby, Gavin, Brady Stoffregen, Hudson, Ella and James Coffey.
