He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Coffin and Ruth Coffin (Madden); his brother Jay Coffin; his parents-in-law, Warren and Jean Vasen (Schricker); and his stepdaughter Jeannette Ebeling.
He is survived by: his wife Sue; his son Jared Coffin (Carol) of Denver, CO.; his stepchild Jean Moran (Matt) of Davenport; his stepgrandchildren, Madeleine and Finny; his stepchild JJ Ebeling (Kelli) of Indian Trail, NC; his stepgrandchildren, Mason, Joseph and Mallory; his grandson Xavier Kirk of Davenport; and also Steve Hamilton.
