He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard and Marguerite; his grandmother Malmburg; his wife Marcia L. Diedrick-Schade; his children, Kim Aumann (Ron) of Ft. Atkinson, Melissa Schade of Davenport, Laurie Schade of Illinois City, Illinois and Jeff Johnson of Davenport; his sister Shirley Brown of Des Moines; his nephews, Dan Brown, Doug Brown and Don Brown; his son Rick Johnson; and his close friend Jim Davis. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19 concerns, social distancing and other precautions are encouraged for those who wish to attend the gathering.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Clarissa Cook Hospice House.
