He was predeceased by: his parents, Cody Kurtz and Ada Kurtz (Hausch). He is survived by: his wife Helen; his son Brendan Bishop of Bettendorf; his cousin Jeanette Riedesel of Bettendorf; and also, Ronda and Sheila.
