It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Spring (Bettendorf, Iowa), born in Montpelier, Iowa, who passed away on December 2, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Rachel Moore; and his sister Arlene Poorman. He is survived by: his parents, John Spring and Nora Spring (Schroeder); his wife Diana Spring of LeClaire; his daughters, Carolyn Moore of Princeton and Vicky Faux (Chad) of Des Moines, Iowa; his siblings, Pat Spring, Roberta Meiner (Don) of Michigan and Robert Spring (Karen) of Davenport, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Chad Freeborn, Nicole Freeborn, Terrie Spring, Thomas Moore, Skylar Moore and Cheyenne Moore.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to LeClaire Baptist Church or the LeClaire Library.
