It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Cherney (Bettendorf, Iowa), who passed away on March 16, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Elizabeth Cherney, Anna Cherney, Lillian Knapp, Ernest, George, Taft, Otto and Laudie.
He is survived by: his parents, Philip Cherney and Mary Helen Cherney (Mihalenko); his wife Ann; his sons, Jim Cherney (Kathy) of Reno, John Cherney (Andrea) of Reno, Farmington Hills of Reno and Tom Cherney (Laura) of Reno; his grandchildren, Victoria, Alexa, Samantha, Nicholas, Isabelle and Charlotte; his siblings, Betty Christensen and Emil Cherney (Arlene); and his sister-in-law Patricia Cherney.
