He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lynnis Straight and Eva Straight (Bird); his wife Latricia Darlene Painter; his children, Christine Lambert of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Herbert Andrew "Drew" Painter (Timothy) and Arnold Roy Painter III of West Chicago, Illinois; his grandchildren, Tara Nicole "Nix" Painter, Jennifer Gomez and William Jeremy Lambert; and his brothers, Ronald Straight, Richard Straight, Warren Straight and Norman Straight.
