With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Houston of Bettendorf, Iowa, born in Chillicothe, Missouri, who passed away on September 17, 2020 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Houston to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn H. Houston and Cora Houston (Wilson); his daughter Janet Loveless; and his siblings, Florence Barkhurst, Eleanor Ford, Robert Houston and Richard Houston.
He is survived by: his wife Betty M. Behm; his children, Barbara Lee (Charles) of Davenport, Iowa and Thomas Houston (Cheryl) of Aurora, Illinois; and his sister Virginia Neely. He is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church of Bettendorf or the Clarissa Cook Hospice House.
