He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Rands and Regina Rands; and his pet Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Judy Rands of Bettendorf; his children, Tammy Ryan (Gene) of Bettendorf, Tammy Greco (Bill) of Papillion, Tanya Mainelli (Aaron) of Omaha, Tiffany Hendrix (Gary) of Chandler, Arizona, Tim Rands (Bambi) of Bellevue, Tom Rands (Jenny) of Omaha, Todd Rands of Bettendorf and Terry Rands (Elizabeth) of Bettendorf; his siblings, Mary Bixler of Michigan, Pat Rands (Sandy) of Michigan and Larry Rands of Florida; and his grandchildren, Sophie Bergman, Michelle Hoffarber (Ralph) and Brian Adams. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bettendorf Christian Church building fund.
