Bernard Theulen Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Theulen of Blakesburg, Iowa, who passed away on June 6, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Theulen and Mildred Theulen (Hunt); his former wife Virginia Ann Guenther; and his brother Larry. He is survived by: his wife Helen Theulen of Blakesburg; his sons, Michael Theulen of Keokuk and Martin Theulen (Remy) of Anchorage, AK; his grandchildren, Kathryn, Jennifer, Jacqueline and Christopher; his brother Leonard Theulen (Karen) of Atlantic; his stepchildren, Jeff Johnson (Ilene) of Blakesburg and Susan Dake (Bruce) of Creston; and his stepgrandchildren, Brooke (Matt) and Courtney. He is also survived by many in-laws, other family members, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Blakesburg Methodist Church or to Blakesburg Historical Preservation Society.
