With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thelma Overturf Wood of Blakesburg, Iowa, who passed away on March 31, 2021 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey M. Overturf and Ethel B. Overturf (Renfrew); her husband Robert "Bob" Wood; her siblings, Ralph Overturf and Gladys Mayo; and her brothers-in-law, Gordon Johnson and Calvin Mayo.

She is survived by: her sister Helen Theulen of Blakesburg; and her nieces and nephews, Linda Roman (Al) of Arizona, Tim Overturf (Ann) of Georgia, Jeff Johnson (Ilene) of Blakesburg and Susan Dake (Bruce) of Creston. She is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be directed to the Blakesburg United Methodist Church.
