Vera Ann Leffler Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2025, at the age of 94, Vera Ann Leffler of Blakesburg, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Verlin McAlister and Mary McAlister; her husband Herman (Leffler); her sons, Pete, Randy and William; and her siblings, JB, Robert McAlister and Marilyn Van Cleve.
She is survived by: her sisters, Wanda Robinson of Moravia and Sarah Kirby of Blakesburg; her children, Mike (Bev) of Blakesburg, Steve (Kathy) of Unionville, Phyllis Eaves (Philip) of Cascade, Tom (Mary) of Clinton and Daryl of Blakesburg; and her daughter-in-law Marsha of Albia. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tharp Funeral Home (116 Benton Ave E, Albia, IA 52531). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Blakesburg Garden Club.
