Irene E. Stimson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene E. Stimson of Blanchard, Iowa, born in Clarinda, Iowa, who passed away on July 12, 2021 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Albert Swanson; her former husband Frederick T. Stimson; her husband Fred Stimson; her daughter Patricia Santillian; her siblings, Carl Swanson, Edith Kroepel, Lucile Mathis and Kenneth Swanson; her children, Judith Stimson of Omaha, Bonita Kelley of Kingsport and John Stimson (Edie) of Boise, Idaho; her grandchildren, Simat Whipp (Bryan) of Clarinda, Celeen Linden (Paul) of Elkhorn, Chad Kelley (Melissa) of Charlottesville, Virginia, Nicole Lowe (Raymond) of Kingsport, Wendy Manley of Phoenix, Lynda Lowery of Boise and Jennifer Suida of Boise, Idaho; her great grandchildren, Calla Whipp (Tony D'Antuono) of Des Moines, Aija Whipp (Adrie Garber) of Des Moines, Sabrina Linden of New York, Chance Kelley (Samantha McCusker) of East Earl, Chase Kelley of Charlottesville, Virginia, Colton Fleenor, Whisper Lowe and Axton Lowe of Kingsport, Tennessee; and her brother Reverend Arnold Swanson of Charlotte. She was also cherished by great, great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.
