Norma Smothers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2020, at the age of 91, Norma Smothers of Bloomfield, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Small and Nellie Rose Latta Small; her spouse LaVerne Smothers; and her siblings, Bobby, Dewey "Bud" Small, Maurine Forsythe, Shirley Smith and Lucille Cope.
She is survived by: her daughter LaVerna Nickell (William) of Wellman; her grandchildren, Lisa Cole (Jeffrey) of Monrovia and James Nickell (Candra) of Wellman; and her great grandchildren, Lauren, Megan, Timothy Cole, Collin and Carly Nickell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the American Foundation for the Blind and the Bloomfield Christian Church.
