He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Johannsen and Irene Johannsen (Knutsen); and his brother Gary Johannsen. He is survived by: his wife Michele; his children, Robyn Skipton (Jenn), Jill Claeys and Scott Johannsen; his grandsons, Joshua Johannsen, Caleb Claeys and Jarrett Claeys; his sister Loretta Phillips (Tom); and his sisters-in-law, Judy Reasoner (Ron) and Deb McGrail (Tim). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Blue Grass Medic EMS or to the Blue Grass Fire Department.
