With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Ehrecke Jr. of Blue Grass, Iowa, born in Muscatine, Iowa, who passed away on December 27, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William and Marie Ehrecke, Sr. (Springmeier); his daughter Joan Herrig; and his brothers, Paul, Harold, Kenneth, Eugene and Warren Ehrecke.

He is survived by : his wife Carol F. DePorter; his children, Dean Ehrecke (Cindy) of Bettendorf, Mark Ehrecke (Nancy) of Davenport, Gary Ehrecke (Kevin), Alan Ehrecke (Debra) of Blue Grass and Paul Herrig (Katy) of Muscatine; and his brother Vernon Ehrecke of Davenport. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew Catholic Church, Blue Grass or a charity of the donors choice.
