It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chester Nolmann Whitmore (Boone, Iowa), born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on March 6, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy L Whitmore and Emma Whitmore (Nolmann); his former wife Sue Ann; his children, Donalee Mayne and Paul Whitmore; and his siblings, Wilbur Whitmore and Janet Minshall.
He is survived by: his wife Harriet Whitmore of Boone, Iowa; his daughters, Carolyn Schaldecker (Vernon) of Solon, Iowa and Betty Rinck of Republic, Missouri; his daughter-in-law Cris Whitmore of Webster City, Iowa; his grandchildren, Sheridan, Aaron, Jory, Travis, Camarra, Becky, Brian, Scott and Kelly; and his sister Lois McGibony. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Eastern Star Masonic Home 715 West 3rd Street Boone, Iowa.
