Dorothy Elaine Bovey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2024, at the age of 98, Dorothy Elaine Bovey of Boone, Iowa, born in Ogden, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence Thompson and Maude Thompson (Groom); her husband Wayne Bovey of Pilot Mound; and her siblings, Lester, Clarence, Jr., Donald, Naoma Jay, Verna Steffy and Gertrude Rapp.
She is survived by : her children, Lynnea Hanke (Dale) of Ankeny, IA and Brian Bovey (Denette) of Boone, IA; her grandchildren, Joe Hanke, Marci Fontanini (Nic) and Lindsay Schaefer (Andy); and her great grandchildren, Conner, Hannah Hanke, Luca, Audrey, Miles Fontanini, Gabi and Genson Schaefer. She is also survived by two nieces and one nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family and will be directed to the Alzheimer's Association and Suncrest Hospice.
