She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Pepper and Ethyl Pepper (McGlynn); and her siblings, Phil, Bernard, Raymond 'Bud', Reverend Dave Pepper, Bernadine Kalen, Margaret McCartney, Betty Driver and Jane Pepper.
She is survived by: her husband Dick of Boone; her children, Ann Umbaugh (Peter) of Avondale Estates, Georgia, John Jordan (Marilyn) of Boone, Mike Jordan (Leslee) of Ames and Bill Jordan (Rhonda) of Donnellson; and her siblings, Mary Jensen of Boone, Joan Kerrigan of West Covina, California, Gene Pepper of Boone and Bill Pepper of Boone. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Shriner's Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, the Ericson Public Library, Boone, the Eastern Star Masonic Home, Boone or to the family and sent to John Jordan, 1417 Quill Ave. Boone, Iowa 50036.
