It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lester W. Anderson of Boone, Iowa, who passed away on June 22, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Darlene and Donald. He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Miller; his sons, Larry (Linda) of Newton and Jim (Tammy) of Boone; his siblings, Belva Riegel of Des Moines and Gerald (Janice) of Ogden; his grandchildren, Jenny Anderson (Cory Giesking), Brian Anderson, Beth Anderson Bowers (Cody) and Katie Anderson Madsen (Devin); his stepgrandsons, Daniel Hudson and Brett Hudson (Erin) of Boone; and his great grandchild Carly Mauck of Rosemount, MN.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Due to concerns of COVID-19, the family will not be present.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Boone.
