It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Cathryn Pearson of Boone, Iowa, who passed away on June 4, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernie E. Minnehan and Clara E. Minnehan (Piepel); her husband Carold A. Pearson; and her brother Paul Minnehan (Leona). She is survived by: her children, Kevin Pearson (Monica) of Boone, Steven Pearson (Maggie) of Hampton, Kelcy Pearson (Elaine) of Boone and Carol Ann Pearson of Ames; and her grandchildren, Kelly Pearson (Jodi), Molly Pearson Fisher (Richard), Annie Carpenter (Jason), Natalie Lampe (Nick), Melissa Moorman (Ryan), Stephanie Rose, Megan Pearson Rosenberg (Jeff), April Pearson Decklever (Lincoln), Summer Jo Pearson, Alyona Pearson, Erin Blasberg (Nick) and Garrett Pearson. She is also survived by four nieces and nephews; and several cousins.
Due to COVID-19, gathering capacity will be monitored and social distancing and use of masks will be encouraged.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mary's name may be directed to Sacred Heart Catholic School.
