It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Diersen of Boone, Iowa, who passed away on June 22, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar M. Keeney and Mary Ellen Keeney (Redmon); and her siblings, Elsie Claring and Daniel Keeney. She is survived by: her husband Lowell Diersen. She is also survived by 20 nephews and nieces, 26 great-grand nephews and nieces, and a great-great-grand nephew and niece.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mary's name may be directed to Augustana Lutheran Church in Boone or the Boone & Scenic Valley Railroad.
