She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Schmidt and Agnes Schmidt (McCoy); and her husband Larry McVicker. She is survived by: her children, Marty McVicker (Lisa) of Ft. Collins, Colorado and Kristi Woodward (Frank) of Valley, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Dylan, Brooks, Ryan McVicker, Zack McVicker Kami Covey (Jake), Jacob Woodward, Reilly Woodward and Brynn Woodward; her great grandchild Wyatt Covey; and her brother Paul Schmidt (Judi). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Mary's name to Hope Fund for Cancer Research, UNMC Fred and Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, 505 S. 45th Street, Omaha, NE 68131.
