He is survived by: his wife Jan Kanne of Boone; his children, Roxanne Kanne-Roush (Kent Roush) of Grimes, Jayne Welch (Randy) of Urbandale and Michael Kanne (Joy) of Austin, MN; his grandchildren, Anne Spurgin (Bret) of Charles City, Kristine Anderson (Eric) of Urbandale, Maddison LeWarne (Robert) of Iowa City, Erika Welch of Urbandale, Charles Kanne of Austin, MN and Ellen Kanne of Austin, MN; and his siblings, Renee Fricke (Ronald) of Carroll, Joleen Reiman (Daryl) of Carroll, Jean Keller (John) of Stuart and Mark Kanne (Barb) of Austin, MN..
