He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Brown and Dorothy Brown (Gleason). He is survived by: his wife Ione May Sturtz (Eckley) of Boone; his children, Mike Brown of Boone, Larry Sturtz of LeGrand and Robin Scarcello of Arcadia, WI; and his sister Karen Smith of Boone. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Trinity Lutheran Church in Boone.
