With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy L. Tapley of Brighton, Iowa, born in Dixon, Missouri, who passed away on March 25, 2021 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy L. Tapley to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Benjamin Dewey and Eva Dewey (Russell); her daughter Lois Miller; her great grandchild Dylan Lee Matthew Tapley; and her siblings, Raymond, Lucille, Roger, Helen, James, Frances and Kathryn Beal.

She is survived by : her husband Dave Lee Tapley; her children, Dave Lee Tapley Jr., Nadine Ward (Kevin) of Washington, Iowa and Jenny Oliver (Kord) of Moulton, Iowa; and her siblings, Charles Beal of Mexico, MO, Clarence Beal of Laddonia, MO, Larry Beal of Moberly, MO, Calvin Beal (Neoma) of Rush Hill, MO and Cora Mae Foster of Iberia, MO. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Mask usage and social distancing guidelines will be observed.

Memorials have been established for the American Heart Association or Parkview Home for the Memory Care Unit.
