He was predeceased by: his father Leo Larson. He is survived by: his mother Ruth Larson of Buckeye, Iowa; his sisters, Cindy Klaffke (Larry), Barb Hanna (Donnie) of Buckeye and Sharon Carpenter of Iowa Falls, Iowa; his daughter Kayla Matteson; and his granddaughters, Aurora and Leia of Humboldt, Tennessee. He is also survived by two nieces and six nephews; ten great-nieces; six great-nephews; along with other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests to have a memorial sent to them in his honor.
