She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Jones and Gladys Jones (Freeman); her husband Leslie R. "Sonny" Sawvell; and her great grandchild Brandon Ballard. She is survived by: her children, Sheila Downs (Rick) of Buffalo, Douglas Sawvell (Elizabeth) of Sierra Vista, Sherry Anderson (Tony) of Davenport and Shelly Thurston (Jimmy) of Blue Grass; and her grandchildren, Shannon Oechsner, Jinne Riley, Jamie Nunn (Eldred), Joshua Downs, Jessie Downs, Callie Sawvell, Dakota Sawvell, Kane Anderson (Aubrey), Kayla Frederick, McCoy Sawvell and Virginia Sawvell.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rose Hill Cemetery.
