She was predeceased by : her mother Mary E. Moyers Spiker; her uncle Glenn Moyers; and her pets, Gunny, Rowdy, Roscoe and Coty.

She is survived by : her father Spike Spiker; her daughter Michelle Lemons (Tony); her grandchildren, Lane, Kailynn and Waylon; and her siblings, Michelle Lekander (Bob), Scott Waterman (Janet), Glenn Spiker (Mindy), Vernon Spiker (Vickie), Dusty Spiker and Sean Spiker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established for P.A.W.S. Animal Shelter in Fort Madison, Iowa.
