He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Heinzel and Caroline Liederman Heinzel. He is survived by: his spouse Jean A. Darnall; and his children, James M. Heinzel (Kathi) of Long Beach, MS, Dennis R. Heinzel (Lauris) of Creston, IA, Patricia L. Clark (Chuck) of Winfield, IA, Diana M. Andrade (Earl) of Colorado Springs, CO and Nancy A. Jacobs (Tom) of Danville, IA. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for SS John & Paul Catholic Church and the Alzheimer Unit at Great River Klein Center.
