It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Laurance Craig Delzell of Burlington, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 92, on December 29, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurance "Tut" Delzell and Verlee Hamilton Delzell; his children, Melodie Warth and Daniel Delzell; and his brother Philip Delzell.

He is survived by: his wife Judith Delzell of Burlington; his children, Darren Delzell (Mary) of Burlington, Teresa Johnson (James) of Burlington and David Delzell of Burlington; and his siblings, Roger Delzell of Morning Sun and Darla Lane of Sperry. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the Ronald McDonald House in Iowa City or to PAW Animal Shelter in Fort Madison.
