It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona H. Wegener (Burlington, Iowa), who passed away on March 22, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Antone Nickelsen and Sadie Nickelsen (Luecking); and her brother Glenn "Barney" Nickelson. She is survived by: her husband Mark; and her children, Dan Wegener (Joan) of New London, IA, Nan Wegener Oliver (Jerry) of San Antonio, TX and Randy Wegener (Dori) of Lone Jack, MO. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and eleven great-great grandchildren.
