With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn H. Lewis Anderson of Burlington, Iowa, born in West Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on August 6, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Philip and Mildred Helen DeWitt Lietsch; her former husband Floyd E. Lewis; her husband Clarence W. "Bud" Anderson; and her siblings, Doris Wiele, De Etta Senn, Elizabeth Karle, Joanne Rodger and John Lietsch.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Lewis of Chillicothe, David Lewis of Burlington, Andrew Lewis (Tina) of Altoona, Jane Knoll (Robert) of Burlington and Nancy Beeney (Ernie) of Trivoli, IL; and her sister-in-law Sharon Knutson. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 17 great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for Divine Mercy Parish - S.S. Mary and Patrick Catholic Church.
