She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Verstegen and Margaret "Peg" Brill Verstegen; and her sister Noreen Vanden Heuvel (Eugene Riley). She is survived by: her husband Eugene Riley; her sister Margaret; her children, Tim (Lynn), Kevin (Stephanie), Steve (Suzanne), John (Andrea), Jane (Mike) and Tom (Tammy); and her grandchildren, Bree, Ryan, Monique, Austin, Maeve, Charlie, Miles, Meghan, Will, Makenzie, Savannah and Ava.
A memorial has been established for Notre Dame Foundation.
