Vera Krieger Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vera Krieger of Burlington, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 6, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vera Krieger to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Reinecke and Helen Reinecke; her husband Floyd James Krieger; and her siblings, Cleo, Wilma and Edwin "Red".
She is survived by: her children, Steven Krieger (Reta) of Burlington, Jeffrey Krieger (Linda) of Fort Myers, Linda Risenhoover (Bill) of Bucyrus and David Krieger (Marcia); her grandchildren, Brian Krieger (Melissa), Deanne Lessard (James), Dan Krieger (Prissilla), Jamie Risenhooven, Matthew Risenhoover (Parisa), Laura Lohmeier (Ben) and Dennis Krieger (Jill); and her great grandchildren, Olivia, Lauren Krieger, Jordan, Lillian, Noah, Zachary, Faith Lessard, Camila, Javier, Ximena Krieger, Cooper Risenhoover, Thomas Lucas, Maren Lohmeier and Isaac Krieger.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (13646 Beaverdale Rd, West Burlington, IA 52655). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to Peace Lutheran Church or to the Salem Lutheran Cemetery.
