He is survived by : his mother Alice Ilene DeJong Wales of Bussey; his former life partner Theresa Wales; his wife Beth Reiman-Davis; his close friend Beth Wales of Bussey; his children, Amanda Wales of Knoxville and Thomas Wales of Knoxville; his stepchildren, Matthew Davis (Alexis Billings) of Keokuk, Michaela Davis of Kahoka, Melanie Davis (Skylar Ditto) of Keokuk and Megan Davis of Kahoka; his siblings, Roger Wales of Bussey, Raymond Wales (Janet) of Albia and Bonnie Bartell (Rick) of Bussey; his half-siblings, Kevin Van Weelden of Knoxville and Kathy Jo Crook (Denny) of Knoxville; and his siblings-in-law, Burl and Roxie Nichols of Kahoka. He is also survived by many aunts, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
