It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Ruth Swanson (Cambridge, Iowa), who passed away on April 7, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Watts and Nona Watts (Soderstrum); her husband John Albert Swanson (Al); her daughter Marcia Knutson; and her siblings, Elizabeth Miller, Mildred Ruby and Don Watts.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald of Ames, Douglas of Ames, Patricia Barrie (Dale) of Winterset, Mark (Denise) of Cambridge and Keith (Deborah) of Gilbert. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
