She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett S. Gardner and Ethel B. Bailey; her husband James E. Sampson; and her siblings, Ada, Alice, Libby, Sally, Jimmie, David and Willard.
She is survived by: her children, Sid Sampson (Lori) of Peoria, IL, Doug Sampson (Terry) of Des Moines, Jeff Sampson of Minneapolis and Laura Aust (Craig) of Ankeny. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
