She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Willeke and Bernadine Willeke (Beyerink); her husbands, Paul "Pat" Schmitz and Edwin Masching; her daughter Patricia Bernard; and her siblings, Wayne Willeke (Doris), Joan Huegerich (Roy) and Donald Willeke (Donna).
She is survived by: her children, Jean Haviland of Carroll, Cathy Olson of Carroll, Maureen Schmitz of Leawood, KS, Mary Kay Minner (Dave) of Highlands Ranch, CO, Tom Schmitz of Carroll and Connie Kirvin (Tom) of Urbandale; and her son-in-law Glenn Bernard. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; as well as other extended relatives.
